Samsung Galaxy F22
Samsung’s Galaxy F22 was launched on July 13th, 2021 in Nepal. Samsung’s Galaxy F22 is a rather basic budget smartphone that goes big on battery life with a Li-Po 6000 mAh and offers a vibrant 6.4-inch 90Hz HD+ Super AMOLED display (HDR) but cuts down on everything else. The 90Hz refresh rate is very useful when it comes to gaming and definitely makes the software experience feel fluid. The big battery easily lasts two days, but takes more than two hours to charge when using the bundled 15W fast charger. The camera’s performance is quite average for its segment, but the daylight video quality was moderate, despite F22 being limited to 1080p@30fps.
Samsung Galaxy F22 comes with Android 11, upgradable to Android 12, and One UI Core 4.1. The F22 is powered by the MediaTek MT6769V/CU Helios G80 (12 nm) chipset, and it is built with an Octa-core (2×2.0 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6×1.8 GHz Cortex-A55) processor. Galaxy F22 comes with Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by).
The Galaxy F22’s design can be best described as practical, with a display that is made of Gorilla Glass 5 and a plastic unibody. While the phone comes loaded with many pre-installed apps, Samsung seems to have done a good job of optimizing One UI 3.1 to run smoothly even on the base 4 GB RAM variant that we tested.

Realme C35
The Realme C35 mobile was launched on February 10th, 2022 in Nepal. The Realme C35 is a budget smartphone that packs a large 5,000mAh battery in a slim design and comes with 18W fast charging. Realme offers a chiselled look with a flat rear panel, but it turned out to be a smudge magnet during testing.
The Realme C35 is powered by Android 11, Realme UI 2.0. Realme C35 has an Unisoc Tiger T616 (12 nm) with an Octa-core CPU powered by Mali-G57 MP1, and when combined with powerful and energy-efficient CPUs and ML processors. It can enable immersive high-fidelity gaming on mainstream devices, which fared well in our benchmarks but struggled with regular use. Gaming performance was not good, with some stuttering and lag even when playing casual titles. That means it’s not well suited for demanding 3D Android games like PUBG Mobile.
The camera performance isn’t great either. While the primary camera’s daylight performance was strictly average, its low-light performance was well below the mark. Battery life lasted a bit over a day, which is below average compared to most budget smartphones in this segment.
